The New South Wales Premier, Police Deputy Commissioner and Chief Health Officer have presented a unified message denouncing rulebreakers running roughshod over the health advice amid Sydney’s escalating COVID-19 outbreak.
It comes after the state recorded 50 locally acquired cases overnight, marking the highest daily count since last year, with at least 26 infectious individuals in the community before being identified.
