An Oklahoma City-based chain of truck stops and convenience stores proposing to build a new facility on the north side of I-35 along the access road between Oak Creek Way and Alligator Creek in New Braunfels has asked city officials to postpone action on it until at least September.
According to David Ferguson, the cityâs media and communications coordinator, Loveâs Travel Stops and Country Stores requested to postpone the item to the Sept. 8 meeting of the cityâs Planning Commission. City council members are tentatively scheduled to consider the request on Sept. 27 for the first reading. Â
Loveâs is required to submit an approved traffic impact analysis to the cityâs planning staff no later than Aug. 9 for placement on the September Planning Commission agenda, Ferguson said. Â
