Downtownâs Hyatt Regency Houston is dressed to the nines and ready for visitors.Â
The 49-year-old hotel revealed its multimillion-dollar overhaul this month, bringing an eclectic flair, mixed with a brutalist, urban influence, to the heart of Houston.Â
Award-winning New York City-based Stonehill Taylor led the design effort throughout the 955 guest rooms (including 20 suites), two restaurants, and sleek first-floor bar. Plus, a new managing director, John Schafer, has come on board from the Grand Hyatt New York to oversee the hotel in this new-and-improved era.
