To the Editor:
After serious soul searching and discussions with my family, I have decided not to seek election for Canton Town Clerk. It is a decision I have reached with mixed emotions, but one I am certain is the best for me and, I hope, for the greater good of the community.
I came to the Town Clerk position with almost 30 years of administrative work experience. I brought my background and skills in project management and record keeping, human resources, budget and finances, board management and relations, event planning, website creation and content administration, and customer service. Over my career I have earned a reputation for being a hard-working team player, respected for my honesty and integrity.
