On Monday, Ray Gonzalez shared a photo to Facebook of a bear crossing Route 211 in Middletown.
In the photo, which you can see below, it looks like the bear is crossing Route 211 to go pick up some cold refreshing drinks from Beer King.
You can also see a car stopped in the middle of Route 211 as the bear strolled across the busy street. You can only imagine what is going through that driver s head!
You can t see in the photo, but directly across the street from Beer King is a Dunkin and Frontera Tacos & Tequila, according to Google Maps. Next to Beer World is a CVS.

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. Tourists and locals have a new way to access Niagara Falls State Park and view one of the wonders of the world.
The USA Niagara Development Corporation (USAN) and New York State Parks announced that the Third Street Connector is now complete. The connector is an new way for pedestrians to get back and forth between the park and the City of Niagara Falls. The project hopes to expand the economic benefits to the area from its nearly nine million annual visitors.

Governor Andrew Cuomo announce the “Shot in the Park” incentive that gives a two-day family pass to any state park to anyone getting a first dose of Moderna or Pfizer vaccine or the single dose of Johnson & Johnson anywhere in New York State between now and May 31.

Also, 15 state parks will be pop-up vaccination sites for the J&J vaccine Memorial Day weekend. Chenango Valley State Par is not one of the sites.
