Suspicious death of woman amid fire in New Hampshire under investigation, state AG says Updated 9:44 AM; New Hampshire state authorities announced Monday they’re investigating the suspicious death of a woman amid a fire in the Granite State. The investigation into the fire and the woman’s death on Mt. Pleasant Street in Derry is ongoing, New Hampshire Deputy Attorney General Jane E. Young, Derry Police Chief Edward B. Garone and State Fire Marshal Paul J. Parisi said in a joint statement. A man was injured as well. He was taken from the scene of the fire to a Boston hospital for treatment, according to the statement.

Young and Manchester Police Chief Allen D. Aldenberg announced additional information regarding the death of Cynthia Halloran, 69, of Manchester on Thursday. Shortly after 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020, police responded to a 911 call reporting that a body, later identified as Halloran, had been found behind one of the fields in the Youngsville baseball complex near the parking lot for the Rockingham Rail Trail. New Hampshire Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Jennie Duval performed an autopsy on Halloran on December 31, 2020. However, the determination of the cause and manner of Halloran s death was not complete at that time pending further investigation and testing. Authorities now say after further investigation and testing, Duval has concluded Halloran s cause and manner of death are undetermined.

Seaburg was killed in the early morning hours of Dec. 12, 2020 following a night of drinking and an argument over “COVID-19 fatalities,” the state reported.  “Based upon the investigation conducted into Jake Seaburg’s stabbing death, New Hampshire Deputy Attorney General Jane E. Young has determined that there is insufficient evidence to disprove the asserted claim of accident beyond a reasonable doubt,” the press release stated. According to the AG’s report, Seaburg died in a Jaffrey apartment on the morning of Dec. 12, 2020 after physically confronting one of the apartment’s tenants, Reilly Lawn, 23, following a night of drinking. Seaburg was friends with Lawn’s roommates, and visited the Peterborough Street apartment along with those friends on
