Luck of the Irish
Several restaurants around town are to offer Irish-inspired nosh on St. Patrick’s Day. New England’s Tap House Grill in Hooksett is celebrating from 3/16-3/18 with specials such as “Reuben Balls”, Fish and Chips and Corned Beef and Cabbage. House Made desserts include Baileys Irish Cream Cheesecake and Guinness Cake.

BARRINGTON – March is officially Maple Syrup month in New Hampshire, a signal of spring coming soon in New England.
There are huge operations and small family businesses, all out in the woods right now tapping trees. No matter the size of the operation, the end result is indisputably sweet.
At Spring Harvest Maple Farm, at 761 Franklin Pierce Highway (Route 9) in Barrington, owner Josh Bouchard talks about his family’s business while his children play in the backyard. A graduate of Coe-Brown Northwood Academy, Bouchard said he got interested after he took part in the local high school s natural resources program as a student.
