Kenneth Hair, 57, jailed on cocaine trafficking, other charges

Treasure Coast Newspapers FORT PIERCE Kenneth Tyrone Hair appeared to have something a bit more potent in the cigar tubes than cigarillos or stogies. Instead, according to Fort Pierce police, the tubes contained more than an ounce of cocaine. Hair, 57, listed as homeless in Fort Pierce, was arrested Monday night on charges of trafficking cocaine and possession of cocaine with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia, an affidavit states. Fort Pierce police about 9:10 p.m. Monday reported they were in an unmarked vehicle in the 500 block of North 13th Street, an area they described as “known for high levels of drug activity,” an affidavit states.

Juan Ramirez, 21, of Tequesta, faces a felony charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill. On Friday, deputies responded to reports of a driver who drew a firearm at another vehicle on the road, according to the report. Investigators said they suspect Ramirez was the man who pulled the gun. The report states Ramirez stepped out of his vehicle at a stoplight and started knocking on a man s window while yelling obscenities.

Orlando Almodovar, 29, and Ellen Wilkerson, 28, were arrested by Port St. Lucie police April 2 after investigators went to a three-vehicle crash at Southwest Bayshore and Southwest Port St. Lucie boulevards, according to Port St. Lucie police and an affidavit. A woman identified as a victim reported she saw the crash, and pulled over to talk to investigators. She said one of the vehicles in the crash, a Cadillac sport utility vehicle, started driving toward her. The woman said she drove forward to avoid getting struck.
