Événement : L’ambassade des États-Unis rappelle aux citoyens américains que les groupes terroristes continuent de planifier des attaques au Burkina Faso et peuvent planifier des attaques pendant les vacances du Nouvel An 2021.
En conséquence, l’ambassade a informé ses employés d’éviter les hôtels et restaurants fréquentés par les expatriés et les occidentaux pendant les vacances du Nouvel An, car ces lieux ont historiquement été la cible d’attaques terroristes à Ouagadougou.
Les terroristes peuvent mener des attaques avec peu ou pas d’avertissement contre des endroits à Ouagadougou, y compris des hôtels fréquentés par des Occidentaux.

The U.S. Embassy in Mali reminds U.S. citizens that terrorist and armed groups continue plotting attacks in Mali and may be planning attacks over the 2021 New Year’s holiday.
Attacks can occur with little or no warning, targeting night clubs, hotels, restaurants, places of worship, Western diplomatic missions, and other locations frequented by foreigners.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, U.S. Embassy personnel are currently prohibited from attending events at public venues, e.g., bars, restaurants, hotels, etc.

Beginning December 31, the government of the Dominican Republic has issued a curfew nationwide. Failure to follow the curfew, including for U.S. citizens, may result in arrest and/or fines. Full details on the curfew can be found at https://presidencia.gob.do/
December 31: Curfew will begin at 7pm.
January 1-10 (M-F): Curfew from 5pm to 5am, with a grace period for transit until 7pm each day.
January 1-10 (Sa-Sun): Curfew from 12pm to 5am.
There is a Level 3 Travel Advisory recommending U.S. citizens reconsider travel to the Dominican Republic due to health and safety measures and COVID-19-related conditions.

Event: Due to the Russian Christmas and New Year’s holidays, the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, the U.S. Consulate General in Yekaterinburg, and Consular Agency Sakhalin will be closed January 1-8, 2021. Starting Sunday, December 20, the Serbian Government is reporting that foreigners seeking to enter Serbia,
U.S. citizens included, will need to provide a negative PCR test, issued within the previous 48 hours.
These measures are reported to not apply to several categories of travelers, including:
Foreign citizens in transit, with 12 hours allowed between entry to and exit from Serbia.
Minors up to 12 years of age, provided the parent, custodian or any other person accompanying the minor has a negative PCR test, if it is needed.
