PÅeÄteno 814 krát On Sundays, January 31st 2021 and February 7th 2021, it was announced in the Augustinian abbey in Old Brno that the former abbot, Lukáš Evžen Martinec, had been expelled from the Order. This is a lie.
Lukáš Evžen Martinec was not expelled from the Order by the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and for Societies of Apostolic Life, but at his request was able to leave the Augustinian Order, which is now unable to fulfill its mission with local religious in Moravia. He was incorporated into the Archdiocese of Olomouc with the approval of the Congregation and on the basis of the decision of the Metropolitan of Moravia, Archbishop Jan Graubner, where he can continue his priestly activities in addition to his civil profession. Even for the Augustinians who want to run the Moravian abbey from Prague it is true that lies have short legs.
