New Delhi/ Kolkata: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has hit out at West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for her free vaccine to all announcement in the state and said that the vaccine is being provided free of cost by the Central government itself. BJP MP Babul Supriya urged Banerjee to not say nonsense like free vaccine when Centre is giving vaccines free of cost to people.
The Union health ministry was also quoted as saying that Modi is likely to launch the Co-WIN app, and interact with vaccine beneficiaries across the country

Jammu, Jan 13 : Jammu & Kashmir on Wednesday received the first batch of the Covid vaccine - Covishield - manufactured by Pune s Serum Institute of India.
Officials said as many as 1,46,500 doses of Covishield vaccine have been received out of which 79,000 are for Kashmir division and 67,500 for Jammu division.
The vaccine is being stored at the divisional cold chain stores in both Jammu and Kashmir divisions from where it will be distributed to all the districts maintaining the cold chain at all levels.
