Amid the rampant lack of use of a
pedestrian subway at a prime spot in Karvenagar, a proposal has now reached the standing committee, mooting the construction of various shops in the underpass as an effort to get citizens to use it more.
The proposal was put forth on Tuesday by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) corporator from Karvenagar, Rajabhau Barate, in front of Pune Municipal Corporation’s (PMC) standing committee.
