OGL, EVEY receive order for 350 electric buses from Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal SECTIONS Last Updated: Jan 30, 2021, 10:59 AM IST Share Synopsis The order is under the FAME-II scheme (Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Electric Vehicles) for supply of 350 electric buses on Gross Cost Contract (GCC) / OPEX model basis for a period of 12 years, it said in a press release. Hyderabad: Megha Engineering & Infrastructures (Meil) group firm Olectra Greentech and its Evey Trans unit have won an order for 350 electric buses from Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal. This is the third contract from Pune for the companies and the second in as many months. The latest order, valued at Rs 700 crore, is the biggest for EV buses in rupee terms till date in India.

Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Orders 150 Electric Buses From Olectra-Evey Trans Dec 30, 2020, 16:04 IST HYDERABAD, 30th Dec: Electric mobility leader and pioneer in electric bus manufacturing Olectra Greentech and Evey Trans Private Limited (EVEY) has received the letter of award from Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd. for 150 electric buses under FAME-II scheme of Government of India. The order is for the supply of 150 electric buses on Gross Cost Contract (GCC) / OPEX model basis for a period in the range of 10-12 years (Contract period).  Evey Trans will procure these 150 electric buses from Olectra Greentech, which shall be delivered over a period of 12 months. The maintenance of these buses shall also be undertaken by the company during the contract period.

December 30, 2020 Olectra Greentech bus   -  The Hindu× Total order book for 900 electric buses Olectra Greentech Limited and Evey Trans Private Limited (Evey) have received a letter of award from Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd for supply of 150 electric buses under FAME-II scheme of Government. The order is for the supply of 150 electric buses on Gross Cost Contract (GCC)/OPEX model basis for a contract period of 10-12 years. Evey Trans will procure these 150 electric buses from Olectra Greentech to be delivered over 12 months. The maintenance of these buses shall also be undertaken by the company during the contract period. With this new order, Olectra Greentech has a total order book of over 900 electric buses. This 150 bus order is a part of recently announced L-1 bidder for 353 buses.

The scheme is tailored to bail out families of employees who die. The scheme collected a fund of Rs 15.59 lakh in its first year and was able to offer about Rs.3.90 lakh to each family of the four employees who died this year.
