Woman killed in high-speed collision near Puyallup KOMO News Staff © Provided by KOMO-TV Seattle PUYALLUP, Wash. – A 31-year-old woman was killed in a collision near Puyallup Sunday morning, after she was hit by a driver traveling at an extremely high rate of speed the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office says. According to the sheriff’s office, the two-car collision occurred at the intersection of Canyon Road at 128th Street East around 11 a.m. Sunday. Investigators believe the driver of the white Sedan, a 32-year-old man, was driving at approximately 100 mph in a 35 mph zone when he crashed causing his car to flip and land on top of the woman’s car.
