BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, May 15 (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): The Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) announced that four Bruneian students in Egypt were found to be Covid-19 positive. This was based on information from the Education and Cultural Attache’ of the Embassy of Brunei Darussalam in Egypt.
This was announced by Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman yesterday.
The minister said all Bruneian students in Cairo underwent swab tests in phases and ordered to self-isolate at their residence. Fifteen students have taken swab tests.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, May 13 (Xinhua) Brunei reported one new confirmed case of COVID-19 on Thursday, bringing the national tally to 232.
According to Brunei s Ministry of Health, Case 232 is a 24-year-old woman who arrived in the country from Jakarta on April 29, 2021. She has fever since May 11, 2021. Investigation and contact tracing have confirmed no close contacts for this case, as she was quarantined upon arrival in the country.
The new case is being treated and monitored at the National Isolation Center with the other eight active cases, who are all in a stable condition.

According to Brunei s Ministry of Health, the new case is a 46-year-old man who arrived in the country from Manila on April 28. He has no symptoms of infection. Investigation and contact tracing have confirmed no close contacts for this case, as he was quarantined upon arrival in the country.
The new case is being treated and monitored at the National Isolation Center with the other seven active cases, who are all in a stable condition.
