Colchester cancer survivor urges people to help Cancer Research UK

Tracey Horsburgh receiving treatment for cancer in hospital A MOTHER-OF-TWO who survived cancer only to lose her husband to the disease said she owes her life to cancer research and to her quick diagnosis. Tracey Horsburgh, 46, from Colchester, was diagnosed with stage two breast cancer in 2015, ten days after she found a lump in her right breast. She has since fully recovered. Her husband of ten years Matt was diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2016 after he collapsed while playing golf. At the time the couple were in training for a 10k run for breast cancer charities. He had been losing weight for several months previously, but Mrs Horsburgh said they “put it down to the stress brought on by my cancer”.
