Samuel Larbalestier A GROUP of Romsey fundraisers are taking on a 63 mile bike followed by a 13.1 mile run in a bid to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Samuel Larbalestier, 29, Gemma Robertson, 31 and Jamie O’Donnell, 30, will be tackling the 76.1 mile duathlon. Quantity surveyor Samuel decided to attempt the challenge following a successful fundraising 300 mile bike ride in 2020 which raised close to £5,000. He said: Me and the team have been training 5-6 days a week usually around 1-3 hours per day, not only has it been an eye opener to how hard you can test your physical and mental strength but been a huge motivator to see everyone gathering round as a unit to help fight for the cause close to my heart.’’
