Awka – The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Anambra state has called for the immediate arrest of the Anambra State Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, C.Don Adinuba and an aide to the State Governor, Evangelist Chinedu Obigwe.
The call for the arrest of the duo, was following their utterances on the violence that ensued during a ‘Walk 4Health’ program, organized in Nnewi earlier this month, by an aspirant of the PDP, Valentine Ozigbo.
Adinuba in a press statement, had accused the PDP of haaving a trademark of violence, chronicling the series of violence suffered by the state during its reign from 1999 to 2006.

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – The Armenian government opened a consulate in the Kurdistan Region’s capital on Wednesday after years of planning, signifying closer ties between the autonomous region and its South Caucasus partner.

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – The Kurdistan Region’s Prime Minister Masrour Barzani said that he hopes the newly inaugurated Armenian Consulate General and Cultural Center in Erbil further encourages the development of relations between the Kurdish region and Armenia.
The premier received Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Artak Apitonian on Thursday, and the two discussed the “historical relations” between the Kurdistan Region and the South Caucasian country, according to a press release from Barzani’s office.
The Armenian government opened a consulate in Erbil Wednesday after years of planning, signifying closer ties between the two sides.
