The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office says a man is accused of shooting his father in the leg. Investigators say it happened on Robert Phelps Road. Deputies said the man who was shot called 911 and told them he was shot by his son, Shawn Glover, and that his son ran away on foot. Deputies looked for Glover but couldn’t find him at the time. Glover’s father was treated at the scene by Somerset and Pulaski County Emergency Medical services and flown to the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Detectives obtained a warrant for Glover’s arrest for assault, domestic violence and robbery charges. Deputies said Glover came to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office where he met with police. He was served a warrant after being interviewed. Glover was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center.

A man suspected of shooting his father is in custody after a short search by law enforcement.
Shawn Glover, 34, of Roberts Phelps Road, Somerset, reportedly fled the scene of the incident on foot after his father, Hubert Glover, was shot.
Lt. Bobby Jones of the Pulaski County Sheriffâs Office said that Hubert Glover, of 150 Roberts Phelps Road, was wounded in the leg by a close-contact shotgun shot.
The two Glovers live at different residences on the same road.
PCSO was called out to Hubert Gloverâs home around 1:55 p.m. Wednesday.

A Somerset man indicted with a count of Attempted Murder of a Police Officer among other felonies after leading officers in a downtown pursuit last month has been arraigned in Pulaski Circuit Court.
Nicholas Lee Hughes, 30, pleaded not guilty to the attempted murder charge as well as five counts of first-degree Wanton Endangerment, first-degree Fleeing or Evading Police (Motor Vehicle), first-degree Criminal Mischief, second-degree Criminal Mischief, Operating a Motor Vehicle under the Influence of Alcohol or Controlled Substance (3rd offense, aggravating circumstances), and Resisting Arrest when he appeared in court last Thursday.
Those charges stem from an incident that began just before 5 p.m. on March 3 when Somerset Police Department (SPD) received multiple complaints about the same vehicle driving recklessly in the area of Slate Branch Road and U.S. 27.
