Two arrested in Thursday night traffic stop

Shown above are baggies and cash seized during a traffic stop on Thursday night. A Somerset man and his passenger were arrested Thursday night following a routine traffic stop conducted by the Pulaski County Sheriff s Office. Eric Daniel Nicholas, 48, of Pond Meadow Road, has been charged with first-degree Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (2nd or greater offense, more than two grams of methamphetamine); Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (1st offense, heroin); No Insurance; and second-degree Persistent Felony Offender. Autumn Decker, 22, of McKee, Kentucky, has been charged with Disorderly Conduct. According to Pulaski County Sheriff Greg Speck, the charges stem from an incident that began just after 10 p.m. when Deputy Branson Patterson stopped a 2013 Dodge Challenger on Pond Meadow Road for a reported traffic violation. Two People Killed And One Arrested In Pulaski County Crash

London, KY, USA / SAM 103.9 FM WWEL | Today s Pop Hits Jan 6, 2021 11:15 AM Kentucky State Police say troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of US-27 and KY-70 in Pulaski County. Investigators say 39-year-old Phillip Hall was traveling west on KY-70 in a pickup truck when he tried to cross the northbound lanes on US-27, hitting another pickup truck that was traveling northbound on US 27. Their initial investigation led them to believe the second driver, 56-year-old Barbara Haste, attempted to avoid the crash. Both Barbara Haste and the passenger, 59-year-old Diane Haste, suffered life-threatening injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene by the Pulaski County Coroner. Hall was arrested as troopers believe alcohol played a role in the crash. At last report a toxicology report was pending. Wreck leads to arrest of Somerset man

Dec 31, 2020 A Somerset man is facing multiple charges after being involved in a minor collision last week. Gary Wayne Godby, 60, has been charged with Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine); Possession of Marijuana; Drug Paraphernalia - Buy/Possess; Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Controlled Substance, 1st Offense; and Parole Warrant - Flagrant Non-support (Felony). According to Pulaski County Sheriff Greg Speck, Deputy Branson Patterson was investigating the wreck which occurred on Bend of the Lakes Road at approximately 9:07 p.m. the night of December 22. Godby had been driving a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze. Through his investigation, Dep. Patterson learned that Godby was wanted on a parole violation warrant from Campbell County and arrested him. Somerset man sentenced to five years in burglary case

Corey R. Hatfield A Somerset man arrested back in July on a burglary job has been sentenced in Pulaski Circuit Court. Corey Reed Hatfield, 40, of East Racetrack Road pleaded guilty to second-degree Burglary on September 14 via the Rocket Docket in connection to an investigation by Pulaski County Sheriff s Office (PCSO). On the morning of July 11, Deputy Branson Patterson was dispatched to look into a U-Haul van leaving a residence near Dry Branch Road which was suspected to have been involved in a break-in a few days prior. Deputy Patterson observed a vehicle matching that description on Ogden Street and was able to stop it on US 27. The driver was identified as Hatfield, who had rented the U-Hall on July 9. During his investigation, Dep. Patterson was able to identify stolen property from the previous burglary and Hatfield was arrested. The items were returned to the property owner.
