PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) â A 13-year-old middle school student has been charged with fourth-degree assault and terroristic threatening after investigators with the Pulaski County Sheriff s Office say a video shows him punching another student.
The video has since been taken down from Facebook, but Janice Ducheney said she posted a copy to her page because she wanted to raise awareness about what it shows.
In the video, Ducheney said her son Travis, a special needs student at Southern Middle School, is punched by a classmate while sitting at his desk.

A head-on collision that occurred Tuesday night just east of Somerset has left one person dead and two others seriously injured.
The crash occurred at approximately 7:48 p.m. on East Ky. 80 in the westbound lanes between Barnesburg Road and Ky. 461.Â
According to Pulaski County Sheriff Greg Speck, deputies arriving on scene determined that a 2009 Jeep was eastbound in the westbound lane of Ky. 80 when it struck a westbound 2016 Dodge Ram pickup head on.
The driver of the Jeep SUV was identified only as a Hispanic male. Pronounced dead at the scene, according to Pulaski County Coroner Clyde Strunk, the driver s next of kin had not been notified by press time Wednesday evening.
