Sirens will be sounding in and around Florida Atlantic University s campuses in Boca Raton, Jupiter and Fort Pierce on Friday.
The school says it s testing FAU s Emergency Alert System.
People in nearby homes and businesses will also hear the siren and PA system activation.
Email, phone and social media accounts will also be activated for the test, which was expected to begin at 10 a.m.
