TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) â Florida A&M University is expected to begin rapid COVID-19 testing of current students and employees next week, according to a press release from the university.
The testing site will be located at the FAMU Employee Clubhouse at 214 S Adams St. from 8 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. Monday through Friday.
The 7,000 rapid antigen tests are being supplied by the White House Initiative on HBCUs, FAMU said.
This rapid testing initiative comes as FAMU ramps up testing protocols for their Spring 2021 semester, including the new rule that staff, faculty and students are required to get tested within five days before returning to campus and every two weeks after their return.
