Described as a “one-off”, tributes have been paid to her generosity, gratitude and sense of humour – and her “huge” presence at the heart of local music.   Dot, a singer, performer and instrumentalist who studied at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, opened her Kentish Town shop in the 1990s with her husband Noel.
