Garden experts to join Copeland MP for online event Copeland MP Trudy Harrison will host a Facebook Live event with local garden, florist and nature specialists next Friday. They will discuss topics including how communities can enhance their local areas, nature recovery and environmental issues, as well as providing guidance on how to kickstart a blossoming career in the sector. Mrs Harrison will be joined by florist, Lisa Robson from Jean’s Flower Boutique in Whitehaven, Senior National Trust gardener, Heather Birkertt, Peter Frost-Pennington of Muncaster Castle, Liz Auld of Cumbria Bloom and Cody Smith, a keen young gardener and business owner who recently appeared on BBC’s Gardeners World.

Lamar native, Linda has owned the Flower Boutique on South Main Street for 35 years after 10 years of employment at the Downing’s flower shop in the Village Center. She is currently the President of the Prowers County Historical Society and an active member of the Zonta Club of Prowers County, having served as president and Area 4 Director. Linda is a driving force in the successful Zonta Rose Day project in Prowers County.
