According to Vail Resorts, the discount to season passes is part of the company’s effort to deliver on its Epic for Everyone commitment to broaden engagement in the sports of skiing and snowboarding. Parking garages are hideously expensive. A contractor friend pointed out that the primary difference between a parking garage and a hotel meeting room is carpet. Otherwise, the costs of ventilation, elevators, lighting, fire sprinklers and pretty much everything else is all there. They aren’t cheap to operate.
