Route 1 Housing Program
In an effort to enhance and preserve the quality of the existing housing supply in the City of Chelsea, the City has premiered the Route 1 Housing Enhancements Program.
The Program provides assistance to homeowners seeking to address sound attenuation, air quality improvements, and exterior repairs. Targeting properties adjacent to Route 1, the Program strives to mitigate the adverse public health effects caused by Route 1, including, but not limited to, noise pollution, degraded air quality, and property damage that occurred during recent state construction.

Q: I had my first COVID-19 vaccine shot recently. It was the Moderna vaccine brand. I m trying to schedule my second dose vaccine through Novant Health s MyChart app. MyChart wants to schedule the Pfizer vaccine for the second dose and not the Moderna. I want to make sure that I will get the Moderna vaccine when I go for my scheduled appointment.

Answer: A Novant spokesperson said, âIt does not sound like they had it at Novant Health. While Novant Health does offer both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccine based on supply, each patient must be vaccinated with the same product for their second dose. Patients who schedule their first COVID-19 vaccine appointment through MyChart will be scheduled for their second dose with the same vaccine. If this person did receive the vaccine from somewhere else, we would encourage them to get their second dose at that same location.â

SPENCER, N.C. (WBTV) - A once bustling shopping center, now nearly abandoned, is getting a new lease on life. The Park Plaza in the town of Spencer was built during the glory days of the railroad industry but has struggled to attract and keep businesses for years.
Now the town and another private party are taking it over, and they have big plans.
