The leader of Pennsylvania’s state university system made it clear to lawmakers on Monday that a final decision on whether to move forward with a proposed consolidation of six universities into two institutions cannot be delayed.

LOCK HAVEN Lock Haven University’s Center for Global Engagement will host “A Casual Conversation with FIFA Manager and former exchange student, Marely Flores” at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 24 via Zoom.
Flores, a former LHU exchange student, will present live from Zurich, Switzerland. She will share her experiences as an exchange student in 2004, while completing her bachelor’s degree from LHU’s partner institution in Mexico, Tec de Monterrey (ITESM). Her first contact with sports management was at LHU.
Flores will discuss the power of study abroad to change lives and the importance of studying languages and intercultural communication. She speaks four languages fluently, and is knowledgeable in four more, and has been passionate about soccer since she was a little girl.
