SAN ANTONIO – A 6-year-old girl is dead following a shooting at a West Side car club meetup late Sunday night, San Antonio police said.
The incident occurred around 10:45 p.m. near Southwest 24th Street and West Commerce Street, not far from Our Lady of the Lake University.
The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the girl killed as Saryah Perez.

LEON VALLEY – The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified a man who was fatally shot at a Leon Valley apartment complex on Sunday morning.
Ronald R. Doze, 39, died from the injuries he suffered during the shooting that happened at 7:30 a.m. at the Vista del Rey apartment complex on Evers Road.
The causes of his death were a gunshot wound to the leg and cardiovascular disease, the office said.
Leon Valley Police Chief David Gonzalez said the shooting was a result of a disturbance.
Man hit by vehicle, killed on Southwest Side

A man killed after being struck by a vehicle has been identified as 29-year-old Carlos Del Valle, the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office said Saturday.
Del Valle was in the road near the 5700 block of Medina Base on the Southwest Side around midnight Friday when he was struck by a motorist, the San Antonio Police Department said.
The motorist, along with another witness, stopped to check on Del Valle. EMS also came to the scene, SAPD said.
Del Valle was pronounced dead at the scene, according to SAPD.
