SAN ANTONIO – The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified a motorcyclist who was killed in a crash caused by racing on Monday night.
Wassim Mokrani, 30, died of multiple blunt force injuries he suffered during the wreck in the 9000 block of Southeast Loop 410, not far from Interstate 37, according to authorities.
San Antonio police said Mokrani and another biker, 24-year-old Jeremiah Matthew Lerma, were racing on Loop 410 just before the crash. At some point, they collided and both lost control of their bikes.

SAN ANTONIO – The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified a 21-year-old woman who died after a rollover crash on Interstate 10 on the Northwest Side Monday morning.
Authorities said Nina Leyva died at University Hospital following the rollover, which happened at 3 a.m. on I-10 near UTSA Boulevard.
San Antonio police said the woman hit a curb, causing her vehicle to lose control and rollover across multiple lanes.

A woman who died after she was run over while lying in a North Side street was identified Thursday by the Bexar County Medical Examiner s Office.
Diane Mireles Perez, 59, had walked out of a bar at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday and was lying on the road in the 4500 block of West Avenue, San Antonio police said.
As she was on the ground, a black Ford F-150 was traveling in the same lane she occupied. The driver did not see her until she sat up at the last minute, police said.
Authorities have identified a woman who was found slain in her West Side apartment days before a reported person of interest in her death died of suicide in New York City.
