Kolkata: Suvendu Adhikari, who recently quit as Trinamool Congress (TMC) lawmaker, on Monday said that he appeared before the West Bengal Legislative Assembly Speaker Biman Banerjee and told him that he has resigned as MLA on his own will.
Banerjee accpeted Adhikari s resignation after he met him in his chambers. The Speaker had asked Adhikari to appear before him today. After Adhikari s resignation from TMC, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) decided to provide Z category security to him
