Kolkata, Jan 31 : Former India captain and current BCCI president Sourav Ganguly was on Sunday discharged from the Apollo Gleneagles Hospital after undergoing a second round of angioplasty.
According to hospital sources, Ganguly is currently doing fine. The BCCI president has been advised to be on medication and follow a strict routine for the next few months.
Ganguly was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday after he complained of uneasiness and chest pain. He had complained of chest pain on Tuesday night and as he continued to feel unwell even on Wednesday morning, his family members decided to shift him to the hospital.

Jharkhand Chief Minister and JMM working president Hemant Soren on Thursday held a rally in Jhargram in poll-bound West Bengal s Jhargram district, demanding establishment of an autonomous council for the tribal-dominated Western part of the state.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that she was hurt that Mr Soren came to Jhargram for political purposes and advised him to take care of his own state.
Sources in the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) said that the party is keen to fight in a number of seats in the West Bengal assembly elections due in April-May this year and Thursday s well-attended public meeting is its show of strength in Jangal Mahal region.

Kolkata, Jan 28 (PTI) Indian cricket board chief Sourav Ganguly underwent another angioplasty on Thursday when two more stents were implanted to clear his clogged coronary arteries, an official at the private hospital where he is admitted said.
The 48-year-old cricket icon is stable . Two stents have been inserted to clear blocks in Mr Gangulys coronary arteries. He is in the ICU and will remain there for the next 12 hours for observation. Mr Ganguly is on oxygen support but he is conscious. He is stable and after another round of checkups tomorrow, we will shift him to another ward, the official told PTI.

New Delhi: The rift within the farmers groups surfaced as two groups pulled out of the protest against the Centre s three farm laws today a day after the unprecedented violence during the Republic Day tractor rally. We can t carry forward a protest with someone whose direction is something else, said VM Singh of the Kisan Sangharsh Committee. A faction of the Bharatiya Kisan Union also dissociated itself from the movement. Farmers groups have alleged a conspiracy to torpedo their peaceful movement. Over 300 police personnel were injured in Tuesday s violence and 22 cases have been registered, Delhi Police said. The farmers are planning a march to parliament on February 1, when the budget will be presented.
Left parties and the Congress are also opposed to the farm laws. A resolution against the farm Bills passed by the Central government will be tabled in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly on January 28. The resolution, under Rule 169 of the Procedures of Conduct of Business of the House, will be tabled by the West Bengal government.
A two-day special session of the State Assembly commenced on January 27 and would continue till January 28. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who has expressed strong reservations against the farm Bills, had said the State Assembly would pass a resolution against the Central laws. States like Rajasthan and Punjab have passed similar resolutions in their respective Assemblies.
