NCB Bengaluru busts drug racket procured from Netherlands and Ethiopia
Narcotic Control Bureau, Bengaluru zonal unit on Tuesday arrested two Nigerian nationals, including a woman, in Bengaluru on charges of drug peddling and 3,000 ecstasy pills and cocaine, received from the Netherlands and Ethiopia through postal parcel service.
Acting on intelligence inputs NCB, seized 3000 Yellow and Grey coloured pills of MDMA (610 gms) from a parcel at Foreign Post Office, Bengaluru. “The consignment was concealed in layers of table cloth. The preliminary investigation revealed that MDMA was sourced from the Netherlands and destined to Bengaluru for further distribution,” NCB said in a statement.
