Sedalia Police Reports for May 24, 2021

Early Sunday morning, Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of West 16th Street for a report of suspicious activity. A concerned party stated she saw three juveniles filling Mountain Dew bottles with gasoline. A search of the area was conducted, and two juveniles were found and returned home.
Officers responded to the area of West Broadway Boulevard and South Limit Avenue late Sunday night to assist Pettis County Deputies on a traffic stop. Pettis County Deputies requested a female Officer to search a female suspect. The female was searched and was placed under arrest. She was then transported to the Pettis County Jail. There was no further information in the report.

Courthouse Camper Arrested for Trespassing
On Thursday May 13 shortly after 3 p.m., Pettis County Deputies responded to the front lawn of the Pettis County Courthouse, 415 South Ohio, on a report of a subject camping in the grass.
The subject was identified as Jacob E. Masters. Masters was instructed to leave the property, but refused to do so as requested by the deputy.
Masters was taken into custody and taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released on a charge of 1st degree Trespassing.

On May 13 at 9:50 a.m., Pettis County Deputies responded to the Pettis County Courthouse, 415 South Ohio, on a subject with an active warrant. Justin A. Bradford was arrested on a Petis County warrant and transported to the Pettis County Jail.
