Vaccination centres to remain closed on two Eid days Published On Vaccination centers will open from 8 am to 8 pm after Ramadan LAHORE (Dunya News) – The vaccination centers across Pakistan will remain closed for first two days of Eidul Fitr, National Command Operation Center (NCOC) issues a circular on Monday. According to the notification, all vaccination centers across the country will have two holidays on Eid, while vaccination centers will open from 8 am to 8 pm after Ramadan. On the other hand, according to the latest figures issued by the NCOC on Monday, Pakistan reported 78 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 861,473. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 18,993.

NCOC directs to strictly implement coronavirus SOPs during Eid holidays Published On NCOC reviews Coronavirus SOPs compliance ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - National Command and Operation Centre has shown concern on reported violations of the instructions from various cities regarding implementation of SOPs during 8th to 16th of this month. In a special session chaired by Planning Minister Asad Umar in Islamabad on Sunday, the forum instructed all provinces to ensure complete compliance of instructions with full administrative control. All markets, businesses and shops will remain closed except essential services including Grocery Stores, Medical Stores, Medical Facilities and Vaccination Centres, Vegetable, Fruit, Chicken and Meat Shops, Bakeries, Petrol Pumps, Food Takeaways and E-Commerce (Home Delivery), Utility Services and Media offices.

Sindh imposes Stay Home - Stay Safe lockdown to defeat coronavirus

Activities related to Eid likely to contribute to the spread of disease May 7, 2021 KARACHI: The Sindh government on Friday announced a new set of restrictions as part of the national “Stay Home- Stay Safe” drive to curb coronavirus during the Eid holidays. In a notification issued by the Sindh Home Department, the provincial government stated that the new restrictions will remain in place from May 9 to 16. “Whereas, considering the usual festive activities traditionally undertaken on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr it is apprehended that such activities related to Eid are very likely to contribute to the spread of disease and accordingly it was decided at the National Command Operation Centre (NCOC) to take further measures to reduce mobility during forthcoming Eid-ul-Fitr and the guidelines “STAY HOME- STAY SAFE” as discuss at NCOC are adopted for this purpose. The same measures were also discussed and decided during the Covid-19 Task Force meeting dated 6th May, 2021 chaired
