Friday’s Christmas Day edition of WWE SmackDown on FOX was taped tonight from Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. The following matches were taped: Steel Cage Match: WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns defends against Kevin Owens Triple Threat Elimination Match: Charlotte Flair and RAW Women’s Champion Asuka defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles against Carmella and Bayley, plus Bianca Belair and SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks Lumberjack Match: WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn defends against Big E in the main event

WWE announced Monday night on RAW that WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Asuka and Charlotte Flair will be defending their titles on the Christmas Day edition of SmackDown. So it looks like Charlotte and Asuka will be appearing on both brands for the time being.

WWE has announced another title match for the Christmas Day edition of SmackDown on FOX.
It was announced during tonight’s RAW that RAW Women’s Champion Asuka and Charlotte Flair will defend their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles against opponents to be announced.
This will be the first title defense for Flair and Asuka coming out of their title win over Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler at WWE TLC. Tonight’s RAW will feature Flair and Asuka facing Peyton Royce and Lacey Evans in a non-title match later tonight.
Friday’s Christmas Day edition of SmackDown on FOX will be taped tomorrow due to the holiday. Below is the updated line-up:
Liv Morgan On Her Main WWE Focus, Farm Life, Acting
WWE SmackDown Superstar Liv Morgan recently spoke with Alistair McGeorge and said she’d like to do some acting outside of WWE, but she’s focused on winning gold with Ruby Riott.
Morgan recently tweeted her excitement about the Hocus Pocus sequel coming to Disney+ and threw her name in the hat to play Sarah Sanderson. She noted that she’s also interested in taking some acting classes outside of the company, but her main priority is bringing home the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles.
“It’s definitely something I’m open to and interested in,” she said of acting. “I have not ? I have actually taken a couple of acting classes with WWE, but I have not taken any acting classes outside of WWE, which is something that I wanna look in to.
