Redshirt senior guard Chelsea Dungee was named a Women’s Basketball Coaches Association All-American, announced today. She was one of ten named to the Coaches’ All-American Team, and the first Razorback since Delmonica DeHorney all the way back in 1991 to earn the honor.
Cubaj, Lahtinen Tabbed All-America Honorable Mention
THE FLATS – Georgia Tech women’s basketball’s Lorela Cubaj and Lotta-Maj Lahtinen were named 2021 WBCA NCAA Division I Coaches’ All-America honorable mention as announced by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Saturday.
Cubaj, the ACC’s Co-Defensive Player of the Year, capped the 2020-21 season averaging a double-double behind 12.5 points and 11.5 rebounds per game. She started all 26 games for the Yellow Jackets, helping Tech reach the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16. The All-ACC first team selection by both the Blue Ribbon Panel and head coaches, Cubaj posted 14 double-doubles on the season to become the first Yellow Jacket since 1991-92 to record 14 or more double-doubles in a season. The Terni, Italy native recorded 17 double-figure rebounding games and 19 double-figure scoring outings.

University of Kentucky women’s basketball junior guard Rhyne Howard has completed the All-America grand slam after she was named a first-team All-America honoree Saturday by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association.
Saturday’s honor completes an unprecedented All-America grand slam for Howard, who becomes the first Kentucky player ever to earn first-team All-America honors from the four major organizations. For the second year in a row, the Associated Press tabbed Howard a first-team All-America – the first player ever to earn that honor from the AP.

Kiana Williams have been awarded WBCA NCAA Division I Coaches’ All-America honors, the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association announced Saturday.
The Conference has now had multiple WBCA All-Americans in three consecutive seasons and five of the past six. The Pac-12’s 13 overall All-America selections since 2016 lead all leagues. McDonald and Williams are the Conference’s 41st and 42nd WBCA All-Americans all-time since the start of Pac-12 women’s basketball in 1986-87.
The Coaches’ All-America team is composed of the 10 best players in Division I regardless of position as chosen by the division’s head coaches.
