HEFEI, Dec. 29 (Xinhua) Xinjiang became the first team to reach the final of the Women s Chinese Basketball Association (WCBA) with an 82-66 victory over Jiangsu in Bengbu, east China s Anhui province on Tuesday.
The two teams were neck and neck after the tip-off, trading off leads several times in the first half. Led by former Women s National Basketball Association (WNBA) player Han Xu, who scored 17 points in the first half, Xinjiang had a slight advantage of three points, leading 39-36 at halftime.
