The Women Entrepreneurs Business Council has reported that most of their members in the containment zones had responded well to the sudden lockdowns.
Chairwoman Eseta Nadakuitavuki said most of the members were managing as they were aware of what to do in these circumstances and no employer had sent their staff members home.
“What we’ve done is we have reactivated our carecall program and just calling our members,” she said.
“They were just trying to make do with what they can do to keep them.”
