Seed Health Announces Acquisition of Digital Health Company Auggi
LOS ANGELES, Feb. 8, 2021 /PRNewswire/ Â Seed Health, a microbial sciences company, announced today the acquisition of Auggi, a digital health company with a suite of artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to track and analyze digestive health. Seed Health will acquire Auggi s technology assets, including its AI algorithm for real-time Bristol stool typing, the world s largest stool image database, and a mobile monitoring application for clinical research.
Auggi s (augmented gastroenterology) deep learning algorithms for automated stool image detection and consistency characterization utilize computer vision and deep convolutional neural networks to objectively quantify and characterize an individual s stool over time. âWith the objective of giving back to the community, utilizing my talents, skills and experiences for the greater good of the community, which has always been my passion, I have decided to run for political office: to be a trustee of my hometown,â Reddy said in a statement announcing his candidacy.
Reddy will be among six candidates running for a trustee seat, of which the town has three openings.

Customers should order by Feb. 6 for pick-up on Feb. 13 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Hanlon School, 790 Gay St. Additionally, you can purchase cookies to be donated to the Westwood Food Pantry, the Westwood Senior Center and the staff at the COVID unit of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
