A Voter Guide To Pennsylvania s 2021 Judicial Elections

• 1 hour ago Matt Rourke / AP Yes, there’s another election day just around the corner. It’s May 18. And, in fact, thanks to no-excuse mail ballots, widespread voting is already open. In addition to deciding local races, voters this year will elect a slew of new judges to Pennsylvania’s three statewide appellate courts judges who will no doubt shape important policy in the state for at least the next decade. A three-judge panel affirmed the trial court s decision not to reconsider the verdict in Nicole Heyer s suit against Dr. Rosemarie Rynkiewicz and Achilles Foot Center PC, rejecting Heyer s argument that she had never given informed consent prior to the surgery. Rynkiewicz performed the surgery in June 2010 to deal with a lesion on the bottom of Heyer s fifth.
