Gov. Tom Wolf on Monday announced nearly $4.7 million in PAsmart Next Generation Industry Partnership grants to bolster workforce development across Pennsylvania and the region.
The grants bring together multiple employers in the same industry to provide targeted job training to students, workers and job seekers. Pennsylvania has administered $88 million through the program since 2018, expanding job training and supporting STEM and computer science education in hundreds of schools statewide.
