The National Weather Service at State College has issued a winter storm warning that begins at 1 a.m. Thursday and ends at 10 a.m. Friday.
The storm is expected to drop six to nine inches of snow, according to forecasters. Sleet and freezing rain are also anticipated Thursday evening.
Travel could be impacted during the morning or evening commute, according to the service.
