Updated: 11:33 PM EST Feb 6, 2021 Shortly before 2 p.m. on Saturday the National Weather Service issued Winter Weather Advisories for two Susquehanna Valley cities and several counties. The advisory will be in effect from 3 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. The following cities are under the advisory that can expect high snowfall accumulations: York. Lancaster.The following counties are also included under the advisory:Adams.Cumberland.Franklin.Fulton.Dauphin.Lancaster.Lebanon.Schuylkill.York.The NWS expects three to five inches with the highest totals near the Maryland border near Adams, York and Lancaster Counties. They advise drivers to plan for slippery roads and heavy snowfall rates exceeding one inch per hour on Sunday morning. The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission reminds motorists to adjust their speeds on snow-covered roads and when there is limited visibility.
