A woman wanted in connection to a stabbing in Oak Grove was arrested Tuesday morning.
Oak Grove Police say in December they were called to a disturbance involving 28-year-old Katrina Grandberry and found her inside a home on Pembroke Oak Grove Road with a knife stabbing another woman.
Officers were able to get the knife away from Grandberry and separate the two women. The victim suffered serious injuries from the stabbing. Grandberry was also injured but police say her injuries were minor.
Grandberry was located by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday and arrested on the Oak Grove warrant for first-degree assault.
The proposal to the council was for the extension and easement of Walter Garrett Lane.
Peterson explained following the meeting that the proposal is for the city to acquire land located on Walter Garrett Lane in order for the road to be extended and straightened for the future purpose of creating a commerce park.
âThatâs the first step in trying to attract industry and factories into that area to make it kind of a commerce park for the city of Oak Grove and Christian County,â Peterson said.
âSo, we have been in discussion with the landowners and (city council) to try to get this started. Basically, all weâre doing right now is starting the process and this was the first step in that process to do some development over there.â

A Clarksville woman was injured in a wreck on Pembroke Oak Grove Road in Christian County Tuesday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say Daffoni Dixon was northbound just past Bradshaw Road when she struck a deer causing her car to run off the road and hit a tree.
Dixon was transported by ambulance to Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville for what deputies say are non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash happened just before 2 a.m.
