The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation is excited to announce that the Ace of Spades has been “caught” in its first Catch the Ace Lottery supporting the Cancer Care Campaign.
The lucky winner, Elizabeth Rosamond of Pembroke, took home a prize of $121,088. Rosamond’s winning ticket #BB-2160463 was drawn from the electronic generator and she chose Card #10 which revealed the Ace of Spades.

A Pembroke man has been arrested in connection with a shooting incident that occurred last September.
According to the Upper Ottawa Valley detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police, the 34-year-old man arrived at the emergency department of the Pembroke Regional Hospital with a gunshot wound early on the morning of Sept. 25, 2020, following an incident they believed happened at a home on Arnolds Lane in Pembroke. The man was taken to a hospital in Ottawa in critical condition.

A Pembroke man is facing weapons charges in connection with a shooting incident in the city that occurred back on Sept. 25.
According to a release issued by the Upper Ottawa Valley detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (UOV OPP), the injury suffered by the man in the shooting was self-inflicted as a result of an accidental discharge.

The campaign to improve cancer care closer to home has officially been launched.
The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation’s Cancer Care Campaign, with a goal to raise $1.65 million, officially kicked off in an unconventional way Jan. 14 – through a Zoom call.
