The Jefferson City Council will review two grant opportunities Monday that would bring more than $360,000 into the city.
The bulk of the money would come from the Community Development Block Grant, which goes toward housing needs in the community.
If approved, the city would receive $300,000.
Of that, $152,000 would go toward down payment assistance, $30,000 toward minor home repair, $37,500 toward infrastructure to support housing such as sidewalks and $20,000 to demolish one dangerous building.

I totally reject the radical calls to defund the police, Barr said. That is why I am leading the effort in Congress to increase funding for our police departments in this yearâs appropriations process.
