15:27 | Lima, Jan. 13. The Government seeks to avoid an extreme confinement in the face of a new COVID-19 outbreak registered in Peru, the President of the Republic Francisco Sagasti affirmed on Wednesday.
The Head of State noted that the pandemic has affected each region differently. Based on the current indicators, the Government has defined in which areas to establish alerts.
These are moderate, high and, very-high levels, based on the incidence of the disease and the conditions in which medical attention is provided. The measures will vary in accordance with each level, top official said.
