Olectra Greentech hits 52-week high; zooms 27% in five days

Olectra Greentech jumped 4.98% to Rs 226.65, extending its winning run to fifth consecutive trading session.Shares of Olectra Greentech added 27.5% in five trading sessions from its previous closing low of Rs 177.75 on 4 March 2021. The stock recorded a 52-week high of Rs 226.65 in intraday today. It has surged 453% from its 52-week low of Rs 40.95 hit on 27 March 2020. On the BSE, 3.19 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 34,000 shares in the past two weeks. In last one month, shares of automobile maker have rallied 19% as compared to an 8% rise in S&P BSE Small Cap index.

Easy Trip Planners IPO ends with robust subscription

The issue received bids for 240.27 crore shares as against 1.50 crore shares on offer.The initial public offer (IPO) of Easy Trip Planners received bids for 240.27 crore shares as against 1.50 crore shares on offer, according to the stock exchange data. The issue was subscribed 159.33 times. The non-institutional investors category was subscribed 382.21 times. The qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) category was subscribed 77.53 times. The retail individual investors category was subscribed 70.40 times. The issue opened for bidding on Monday, 8 March 2021, and closed on Wednesday, 10 March 2021. The price band for the IPO was set at Rs 186-187 per share. The IPO comprised an offer for sale (OFS) of equity shares aggregating up to Rs 510 crore (including anchor portion of 1,22,72,727 equity shares). The post-issue promoter s shareholding in the company will decline to 74.9% from 100%.

Australia Market end flat

The Australian market closed virtually flat after surrendering early gains on Thursday, 11 March 2021, as gains in tourism stocks on news of support package countered losses in big banks and buy-now-pay-later giant Afterpay. At closing bell, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 edged down 0.18 point, or 0.00%, to 6,713.92. The broader All Ordinaries edged up 5.77 points, or 0.08%, to 6,952.92. Consumer discretionary stocks were the bright spot throughout the day as travel-exposed companies were buoyant on news of stimulus for the sector. The government unveiled a A$1.2 billion tourism support package aimed at boosting local travel. Flight Centre Travel Group was the top gainer, adding 9.2%. Corporate Travel Management rose 4.3%, while travel bookings company Webjet climbed 3.8%. Casino and gaming company Aristocrat Leisure, Qantas Airways and Sydney Airport Holdings all clocked gains of more than 2%.

SoftBank-backed Coupang raises $4 6 billion in US IPO

By Chibuike Oguh, Joshua Franklin and Joyce Lee (Reuters) - Coupang LLC, South Korea s largest e-commerce company, raised $4.6 billion in the biggest share offering in the United States this year after selling stocks in IPO above its deal target range, the company said on Thursday. Coupang said in a statement that it had priced 130 million shares sold in the IPO at $35 per share, higher than the marketing range $32-$34 per share, giving Seoul-headquartered e-commerce giant, which is backed by Japan s SoftBank Group Corp, a market value of $60 billion. Founded in 2010 by Korean-American billionaire Bom Suk Kim, Coupang rose to prominence after launching its guaranteed same-day or next-day delivery service in the East Asian country. SoftBank s $100 billion Vision Fund owns 35.1% of Coupang.

REC transfers Ramgarh New Transmission (SPV) to Power Grid

REC announced that Ramgarh New Transmission (RNTL), a special purpose vehicle (SPV) and wholly owned subsidiary of REC Power Distribution Company (RECPDCL) which is a wholly owned subsidiary of REC, was incorporated for the purpose of transmission system strengthening scheme for evacuation of power from Solar energy zones in Rajasthan (8.1 GW) under Phase II-Part A, to be transferred to the successful bidder selected through tariff based competitive bidding process (TBCB). After successful completion of TBCB process, Power Grid Corporation of India emerged as successful bidder for the said project. Accordingly, after receipt of consideration comprising of professional fee for bid process coordination and reimbursement of expenditure incurred on the project by RECPDCL, interest cost etc., the entire shareholding of RNTL, comprising of 50,000 equity shares, presently held by RECPDCL, was transferred at par value along with all its assets and liabilities on 09 March 2021 to Power Gr
