Most of the Eureka Springs School District staff is fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
At the Eureka Springs School Boards regular meeting on Thursday, Feb. 18, Superintendent Bryan Pruitt announced that the 70 members of the staff who had received an initial dose of the vaccine would receive the second round of vaccinations on Wednesday, Feb. 24. The staff received the first round of vaccinations on Jan. 27. Pruitt said he had hoped to administer the second round on Feb. 19, but it was difficult to get everything arranged in such a short period of time.
I contacted our school nurse and she contacted our pharmacists and they said it wouldnt be available that day, Pruitt said. It just wouldnt work out.
